The Bald Headed Bistro is proud to introduce our first ever Southeastern Chef Series. Over the next nine months we will be showcasing chefs from around the country. Join Chef Eric Fulkerson as he combines forces with a new chef each month to bring guests a dining experience they will savor for years to come. Each chef will prepare signature dishes, then entertain guests by describing the delicacy in front of them in a display of pure showmanship. A self-taught cook, Chris Hall has worked in kitchens from Philadelphia’s Le Bec Fin to Atlanta’s Canoe and 4th & Swift. His culinary style is completely unrestricted and self- characterized as simple, but also respectful of tradition and method. As chef of Local Three, (a local chef’s hang-out for superb charcuterie and casual atmosphere), the results of that style illustrate imaginative combinations of ingredients, technique, and exceptional flavors.
Hall grew up around the corner from Local Three on Peachtree Battle Avenue and brings truth to the restaurant’s moniker. He now lives in Smyrna, Georgia with his wife Julie, who you’ll see buzzing about the restaurant frequently. An avid Georgia Tech fan, Hall considers home game Saturdays religious ceremonies, another proof point of his local roots.
